How to: Resize VirtualBox Disk size on Linux

In this guide, I will be showing you how to increase the VirtualBox Disk Size of a VM. You can do so with the following command (make sure the VM is powered off)

VBoxManage modifyhd /path/to/disk.ext --resize 20480 #<-- new disk size in MB (This is 20GBs)

Make sure to replace the number at the end with the new disk size in MB along with the path. This should then output the following

0%...10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%...70%...80%...90%...100%

Please note, you may need to extend your disk on the actual virtual machine for it to use the new disk space.
