Opening Command Prompt in Windows 7 or vista

If you are using Windows 7 or Vista then this is a lot easier. To open Command Prompt up, all you have to do is click start and type in ‘cmd’. The first link should be command Prompt (With a black icon next to it). If you are wanting to run this as Administrator then you can right click it and click ‘Run as Administrator’. If you do not require that then you can just click it. A black box should appear.

Finding your Network Information

Once you have opened Command Prompt, you can then simply type in ‘ipconfig’ or ‘ipconfig /all’ for more detailed information.
