How to Install PHPMyAdmin on Ubuntu and Debian

In this guide I will be showing you how you can install phpmyadmin on ubuntu and debian. The following will need to be done through the terminal. This is quite straight forward as all we need to do is type

apt-get install phpmyadmin

and enter the password we choose when we installed lamp for mysql.

The first thing we will need to do is select the web server to use. This is apache2

The next thing you will need to do is to tell it what the password is for the root user. Just continue to enter this when prompted until the installation is complete.
